My name is Lara Ashley, an artist with a passion for creativity that was ignited during my unconventional upbringing. Born in Colorado and raised in the Middle East, specifically Egypt and Saudi Arabia, I was immersed in a rich tapestry of cultures and artistry from an early age.

The captivating Arabic calligraphy and mesmerizing ancient Egyptian artifacts that surrounded me in my formative years left an indelible mark on my soul. It was amidst these vibrant and historic settings that my fascination with art first blossomed.

Upon returning to the United States, I channeled this love for visual expression into the world of painting. In high school, I embraced acrylics and oils as my preferred mediums, crafting my artistic voice and finding inspiration in the works of Andy Warhol and Voka. Although my academic pursuits led me down different paths, art remained an ever-present and essential part of my identity and creative foundation.

After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder, I decided it was finally time to turn my artistic dreams into reality. I began my journey by heading the art and merchandising teams for the musician, Illenium. Here, I found myself immersed in a dynamic and electrifying world of music and visual artistry.

In my role, I've had the privilege of not only creating and directing artworks but also designing merchandise that resonates with fans on a profound level. My expertise extends beyond visuals; I've also been a creative consultant in the realms of music videos and story development, contributing my artistic flair to shape narratives that captivate and inspire.

My journey as an artist has been an exciting fusion of cultures, experiences, and mediums. With each piece, I aim to convey the essence of my background and the passion that fuels my creative spirit through vibrant paintings, designs and collaborative projects.
